Textile products produced in the amount of 23.3 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- During January-June 2021, 5,338 enterprises for the production of textile products produced goods worth 23.3 trillion soums. The index of the physical volume of the network in comparison with January-June 2020 amounted to 123.4%.

In particular, the growth rates of large enterprises:

Yarn production – 36.3%;

Carpets and other textile floor coverings – 56.5%;

Production of sacks and packages – 18.0%.

Also, the largest share in the total volume of products produced by textile enterprises in the republic fell on the Fergana region - 14.2% (810 operating textile enterprises), Tashkent region - 10.2% (449), Kashkadarya region - 9.5% (240) and Samarkand region - 9.2% (376).
