Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- At the end of January-June 2021, GDP growth of Uzbekistan reached 6.2%. 

The gross value added created by all sectors of the economy amounted to 92.4% of the total GDP and increased by 6.1% (contribution to GDP growth - 5.7 percentage points), the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said. 

Net taxes on products in the structure of GDP amounted to 7.6% and increased by 7.1% (contribution to GDP growth - 0.5 pp).

In the context of types of activities, the growth in value added amounted to:

- in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 1.8%;

- in industry – 8.5%;

- in construction – 0.1%;

- in the service sector – 8.0%.
