Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - Uztekstilprom Association held negotiations with Alexander Krilhof, director of the German company BHG Bayerische Handelsgesellschaft mbH, on organizing the export of textile products to EU countries and financing export activities.
In this process, BHG represents a group of companies with long-term experience in working together in the field of fashion, textile production, sales, and active partnerships with major European and world companies that are potential customers for Uzbek manufacturers. The annual volume of orders that can be placed with the enterprises-members of the Association may amount to about 100 million euros. These potential orders relate to the purchase of fabrics, home textiles, workwear, finished garment and knitwear and others.
The German side drew attention to the fact that the enterprises have a production chain "from growing raw cotton to the production of finished products", a modern technical base, an enterprise strategy for entering foreign markets, modern management, stable product quality and the ability to supply it on competitive terms.
The representatives of the association provided information on production volumes, export of textile products, technical equipment and production capabilities of enterprises, prospects of export to EU countries.
The parties discussed the problems of organizing the receipt of orders, their implementation, logistics and financing. The German side proposed mechanisms for financing the export of textile products to the EU countries.
The parties also discussed the creation of a joint trading house in Germany to organize the acceptance of orders from world trading companies, placing them among the textile enterprises of Uzbekistan, monitoring the fulfillment of orders, acceptance of goods, financing and payment for shipped goods.
