Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-June 2021, 37,200 tonnes of fish were caught in Uzbekistan, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said. This is 9.9% more than in the same period of last year.

The volume of fish caught in the context of regions:

Karakalpakstan - 3648 tonnes

Andijan - 3544 tonnes

Bukhara - 2002 tonnes

Jizzak - 3400 tonnes

Kashkadarya - 1044 tonnes

Navoi - 4167 tonnes

Namangan - 1040 tonnes

Samarkand - 1732 tonnes

Surkhandarya - 1248 tonnes

Syrdarya - 2648 tonnes

Tashkent - 3654 tonnes

Fergana - 2838 tonnes

Khorezm - 6226 tonnes
