Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 June this year, a cargo ship with 2 locomotives and 11 wagons from the Spanish port of Bilbao, as well as 4 separate wagons, arrived at the Russian port in St. Petersburg.

Specialists of the Uzbek Railways, together with their Russian colleagues, prepared this train for delivery to Uzbekistan.

On 20 July 2021, the Afrosiyob train departed from St. Petersburg to Uzbekistan.

Ten years ago, in 2011, the first modern high-speed train Afrosiyob was delivered to our country.

In a few days, the number of such trains in our country will grow to five.
