Media representatives and bloggers get acquainted with the process of production of petroleum products at the Bukhara oil refinery
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a press tour with the participation of journalists and bloggers, detailed information was provided on the work done to implement the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 28 September 2016 “On measures to increase the production of finished export-oriented products on the basis of deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials for 2016–2020”.
According to the program of the press tour, the journalists and bloggers first of all got acquainted with the work of the gas oil hydrotreating unit, which has the most modern catalyst installed at the Bukhara refinery within the framework of this project. Until now, the quality of petroleum products (gasoline and diesel fuel) produced at the refinery met the requirements of the Euro-2 standard. As a result of replacing this catalyst with a new model, it was possible to bring the quality of the products in line with world standards.
It was noted that due to the quarantine, the specialists of the French company Axens could not take part in the replacement of the catalyst in the gas oil hydrotreater. The specialists of the plant and the company installed a new catalytic system in the 13R01 reactor online by the efforts of the plant specialists according to the Axens scheme.
Journalists and bloggers received answers to their questions about new production of gasoline and diesel fuel under the QuWatt brand.
It should be noted that in the first decade of 2021, 480 tons of AI-95 gasoline under the QuWatt brand were produced at the Bukhara oil refinery jointly with the German company BASF SE in order to produce competitive products.
The experts provided information that the AI-95 gasoline under the QuWatt brand has an excellent effect of keeping the engines clean; ensures that the amount of layer formed on the valves does not exceed 4 mg / valve; provides a high level of cleaning of engine valves from deposits, that is, up to 80%; increase in vehicle engine power and fuel economy up to 3%; ensures uninterrupted operation of the engine in winter; prevents corrosion in the fuel system of the engine, as well as in the processes of transportation and storage of gasoline.
Since journalists and bloggers were mainly interested in the quality of these petroleum products, in a special laboratory they were provided with full information on how to determine the quality of products and that samples taken from them can be stored for 40 days.
The participants had no doubts about the quality of the products manufactured at the Bukhara oil refinery, and it was decided to organize press tours and meetings so that the work carried out in this direction was always transparent.
