Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz is implementing an investment project “Modernization of a gas purification unit using zeolite at the Shurtan Headworks” worth US$15.25 million.
Within the framework of the project, the modernization of the equipment of the existing gas purification unit using zeolite is aimed at purifying and improving the quality of 20.0 billion cubic meters of natural gas from hydrogen sulfide and liquid per year.
For the implementation of the project, it is planned to purchase equipment imported from foreign factories and manufactured by the German company Borsig ValveTech GmbH, the Czech company Global Industrial Solutions, the Chinese HUA YING VALVE CO. LTD "and others.
Currently, work has begun on the preparation and delivery of equipment. Equipment such as high temperature ball control valves, combined heat exchange equipment, furnace internals, raw gas separator, condenser electrical equipment, automatic system control equipment, metering and automatic devices, and control valves arrived.
At the same time, work is underway to conclude contracts with domestic enterprises for the supply of pipes and pipeline products.
The installation of all supplied domestic equipment and devices was completed. Currently, the installation of high temperature ball control valves, supplied from the Czech Republic, is underway.
To date, the General Contractor, Mubarekneftegazmontazh, has completed 55.0% of construction work. Construction and installation works are scheduled to be completed in November 2021.
