Zenith Electronics produces 50,000 LG conditioners

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent-based Zenith Electronics company produced more than 50,000 air conditioners of LG brand, journalists were told at a press conference in the capital on Wednesday.

The head of the LG Electronics office in Uzbekistan Choi De Ho said that his company had been implementing the complex program to promote its products in Uzbekistan.

The LG Electronics representative office was opened in Tashkent more than 12 years ago.

Over these years, a wide network of dealers and sellers of LG products was created, along with 18 authorized service centers in all regions of the country.

According to Zenith Electronics representatives, the company launched production of LG TV sets, DVD players and air conditioners in 2004.

Since then, Zenith Electronics, one of the largest manufacturers of home appliances in the country, produced about 265,000 TV sets of 18 models, 6,000 DVD players of 4 models and more than 50,000 air conditioners of 5 models.

This year the company plans to launch production of washing machines and start exporting its products.
