Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of Iranian filmmakers is planning to make documentaries about the historical and cultural attractions of Central Asia, PressTV of Iran reported.
Maryam Davarpanah, Babak Salek, Ramin Dahdashtian and Hamid Qanbari, accompanied by photographer Houman Sadr, are set to make over 45 hours of documentaries about the region.
The team has traveled more than 8,500 kilometers across Central Asia to record images about the cultural and historical attractions of the region.
They will also make a 50-minute film and write a book about their journey to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pamir, and Turkmenistan which is home to over 700 cultural and historical monuments in its Mary Province alone.
