Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan will allocate 1 trillion soums, attracted through the placement of Eurobonds, to three banks for the development of family entrepreneurship.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave relevant instructions on 24 November during a video conference meeting.
It was emphasized that entrepreneurs for the implementation of new projects need credit funds in the amount of 1 trillion soums.
“In this regard, the Ministry of Finance was instructed to place 1 trillion soums in the People’s Bank, Microcreditbank and Agrobank as resources for family business programs, attracted through the issuance of Eurobonds,” the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
The People’s Bank was instructed to prepare projects on women’s entrepreneurship, train women in doing business. It is indicated that at the same time, bank employees must directly help promising business women, including going to places.
