The agreement was signed in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 4 July 2007. The agreement is aimed at regulating labour activity of citizens of Uzbekistan in Russia and citizens of Russia in Uzbekistan. The document should settle existing problems in migration sphere.

The document will allow to regulate process of attraction and use of labour of Uzbek and Russian specialists, working in two countries, strengthen their social protection and guarantee adherence of their rights in work process.
