Gruzdev, General Director of JSC "Russian Export Center" V. Nikishina, General Director of JSC "Russian Agency for Insurance of Export Credit and Investments" N. Gusakov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation S. Lisovsky , General Director of Kamaz PJSC S. Kogogin and General Director of the Hevel Group of Companies I. Shakhrai.
During negotiations with the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, JSC Russian Export Center and JSC Russian Agency for Insurance of Export Credits and Investments, topical issues of investment and trade and economic cooperation within the framework of specific areas and initiatives were considered.
In this vein, the significant potential for further strengthening industrial cooperation was emphasized - in the opinion of Russian colleagues, the pooling of resources and capacities of Russian and Uzbek manufacturers in order to create joint value chains will ensure the high competitiveness of the final product when it is sold both in the markets of the two countries and when exporting to the markets of third countries.
They also considered the possibilities for working out practical mechanisms for enhancing the development of interregional cooperation, which has shown positive dynamics in recent years.
With a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation S. Lisovsky, the sides discussed the implementation of projects to create agrological clusters in the regions of Uzbekistan and the possibility of introducing advanced Russian technologies, developments and quality standards in this area, which will facilitate the access of Uzbek agricultural products to the Russian market.
Prospects for investment in the creation of high-tech enterprises in the automotive industry and alternative energy with a high level of localization of products were discussed with the heads of the companies "Kamaz" and "Hevel".
An agreement was reached on the creation of a joint working group consisting of representatives of the Center for the Development of Investment Projects under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, as well as the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and companies of the Russian Federation, whose task will be to develop specific proposals in these areas.
