Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Erniyazov Musa Tajetdinovich, a famous statesman and public figure, chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, deputy chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, died today in Nukus at the age of 73.
Musa Erniyazov was born on December 20 in 1947 in Karakalpakstan. In 1971 he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration. From 1990 to 1996 he worked as the manager of the Karakalpak state regional base, then as the head of the Orolbyi association of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
In 1998 he became Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in 2002 he was elected Chairman of the Jokargy Kenges of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
