Another humanitarian cargo from the Republic of Korea sent to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of international cooperation in the fight against coronavirus infection, as well as to help prevent the spread and eradication of COVID-19 in our country, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul has attracted and sent another batch of humanitarian aid from the Republic of Korea to the amount of about 100 thousand dollars, Dunyo reported.
The cargo weighing about 9.5 tons consists of 40 units of modern syringe pumps, 15 thousand packages of antiseptic agents and 12 units of multifunctional medical beds with a mattress and an automatic mechanism. It was formed with the support of South Korean companies BOMI Engineering & Construction and Infinity Co., Ltd., Shinhan and Aju Universities, as well as the CCI of Hwasong.
The cargo was sent to Uzbekistan by a charter cargo flight of Uzbekistan Airways JSC. Its arrival is expected today.
The diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Seoul continues to actively attract humanitarian aid to combat coronavirus infection, primarily high-tech medical equipment (portable x-ray equipment, syringe pumps and other accessories) for the needs of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
The remainder of the humanitarian aid worth about 66 thousand dollars with a total weight of about 6.5 tons will be sent as the next cargo charter flight is organized.
