Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 20-24 January 2020, a regular meeting of the Government delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh Demarcation Commission was held in Tashkent.

The Commission prepared draft final documents on the demarcation of the State border to the site within Jizzakh and Navoi regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adjacent to Kyzyl-Orda and Turkestan regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The delegations prepared a draft Action Plan for the preparation of the final documents on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Kazakh State border for 2020.

Within the framework of this meeting, the parties carried out a joint field survey of individual sections of the interstate border.

The talks were held in a traditionally friendly and constructive atmosphere.
