Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The press service of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported that on 6 January at 13.30 in the Ak-Kurcha area in Pap district of Namangan region, Uzbek border guards noticed state border violators, who came from the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border deep into 1.5 kilometers to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and grazing about 500 heads of small cattle.

Before the border guards of the Republic of Uzbekistan came to the place of illegal border crossing, Kyrgyz shepherds managed to drive away most of the herd into Arab Ala-Buki district of the Jalalabad region. The rest of the herd was in the area indicated above.

According to the line of conduct and the bilateral agreements reached, the Uzbek border guards expelled cattle and civilians to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On this fact, a meeting was held between the border representatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, the conflict is localized, and explanatory work is being carried out with the population living in the border zone.
