Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - On 21-27 December 2019, the next meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Delimitation and Demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Karshi.
During the meeting, the results of the work carried out by the working groups of the two countries in 2019 were summarized, and the schedule of meetings for 2020 was agreed.
In addition, the event participants prepared a package of documents for approval during the upcoming meeting of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on Border Issues.
Following the talks, the heads of delegations Tulkin Abdullaev and Mammad Mammadov signed the corresponding Protocol.
The meeting was held in a constructive and traditionally friendly atmosphere.
