Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On additional measures to improve the system of military-patriotic education of young men and the training of personnel reserve for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and public service” was adopted.

By resolution in the ministries of defense, interior and emergency situations, as well as the State Security Service and the National Guard, the following fundamentally new military-academic lyceums Temurbeklar maktabi were established:

-Fergana Military Academic Lyceum "Temurbeklar Maktabi" (within the Ministry of Defense);

- Kibray Military Academic Lyceum "Temurbeklar Maktabi" (as part of the State Security Service);

-Nukus Military Academic Lyceum "Temurbeklar Maktabi" (as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs);

- Tashkent Military Academic Lyceum "Temurbeklar Maktabi" (as part of the National Guard);

- Shahrisabz Temurbeklar Maktabi Military Academic Lyceum (as part of the Ministry of Emergency Situations);

The resolution also approved the following:

- The program of measures (“Road Map”) for the creation of fundamentally new military-academic lyceums “Temurbeklar Maktabi” and the improvement of the educational process in them;

- Regulations on the Tehurbeklar Maktabi military-academic lyceum;

-Typical organizational structure of the military-academic lyceum "Temurbeklar Maktabi";

- The list of higher, higher military and specialized educational institutions assigned to the military-academic lyceums "Temurbeklar Maktabi".

Admission and training in the newly formed Temurbeklar Maktabi begins in the 2020/2021 academic year.

In accordance with the resolution of the President, the duration of training in military academic lyceums is two years with an annual admission quota of 100 people.

For servicemen serving in the Temurbeklar Maktabi, starting from September 1, 2019, a surcharge of 50 percent of the official salary is introduced.

Graduates of Temurbeklar Maktabi, when enrolling in the highest military and specialized educational institutions for the accumulated test scores, are given a concession in the form of additional points in the amount of 30 percent of their scores, and for admission to other state higher educational institutions - 15 percent of their scores points

Graduates of Temurbeklar Maktabi who have completed with a diploma with honors are given the right to enter the highest military or specialized educational institutions of ministries and departments that are in charge of the relevant military academic lyceum without passing the test of professional qualifications.
