Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 May – 1 June, Namangan will host Flowers Festival. Thousands of tourists and experts from around the world visit the festival annually.

The guests from such countries as South Korea, Russia, Turkey, Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are invited to the event.

It is expected that this festival will help to promote tourism attractiveness of Namangan and region as a whole.

The festival starts with a parade, which will be attended by 100 cars decorated with flowers.

The Babur Park will host an exhibition of flowers, organized by florists, heads of enterprises and city organizations. In total, the event will be attended by more than 150 entrepreneur-florists, more than 100 companies and organizations will present flowers. It should be noted that 3.5 million saplings were planted in last year’s festival for creating floral arrangements. This year, their number will exceed 5 million.

A number of foreign media representatives, including from Russia, China, Turkey, Iran, India and Kyrgyzstan will cover this colorful event.
