Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation of the “Business city” projects for representatives of domestic and foreign business structures, journalists and the public was held in Tashkent. During the event, a presentation of projects in Mirzo-Ulugbek and Yunusabad districts of the capital was held.

According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-3895 “On Measures to Create Modern Business Centers of the Business City in the Territories of the Republic”, active work is being done to improve the architectural appearance and improvement of district and city centers, increasing their attractiveness for foreign and domestic investors.

The preliminary concept of the next “Business City” projects in Mirzo-Ulugbek and Yunusabad districts has already been implemented, negotiations are underway with potential investors.

Representatives of the capital’s khokimiyat noted that the Directorates “Mirzo-Ulugbek Business City” and “Yunusabad Business City” were established to carry out the functions of the customer, to coordinate and control the construction of facilities in the territory of the “Business city” centers at the Tashkent city administration). Their tasks will include integrated control over the implementation of projects and the construction process, in order to ensure compliance with legal norms and procedures at all stages of project implementation.

The master plans of the “Business city” centers were developed with involvement of leading domestic and foreign design organizations. Land for the construction of facilities will be provided to investors on the basis of the selection of the best investment proposals. In addition, the Presidential Decree provides incentives and preferences for investors, the general contracting organization and other project participants.

The implementation of the Business City will also assist in creation of new workplaces as the project is in its infancy - qualified architects, engineers, designers are needed for construction, and after launching, new buildings and structures will be commissioned.
