Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new “Navruz” park is being constructed in Tashkent. Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) is implementing the project.
This project is implemented within the framework of the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated 7 August 2017 “On measures to implement the project“ Construction of the Navruz Park in the city of Tashkent ”.
The construction work is carried out by the specialists of the unitary enterprise “Uztemiryulkulilishmontaj” ofUzbekistan Temir Yollari.
For the territory of the new park allocated 32 hectares of land. The new amphitheater with a capacity of up to 3 thousand spectators and a ferris wheel with a diameter of 72 meters will not leave any visitor indifferent, the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari said.
An interesting project will provide an opportunity to simultaneously visit all areas of our Republic, namely, each region will be represented in its traditions, customs and colors. Visitors can taste national culinary dishes in teahouses, buy souvenirs of national handicraft as a souvenir and enjoy the distinctive culture. In short, the park, built in the style of an ethnographic town, is designed to reflect the Uzbek national values.
There is no doubt that the open-air park-museum under construction, which absorbs Eastern and modern aesthetics, will be of interest to both the local population and the guests of our capital.
In the park, it is planned to celebrate such holidays as Independence Day and the holiday of the spring equinox of Navruz, as well as folk festivals, concerts for residents.
The park is being built at a fast pace and its opening is planned this year.
