Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation of Sixclouds (Singapore), headed by CEO and founder of the startup Richard Woon. This was reported the press service of the Ministry of Public Education.

During a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Public Education, the Singapore delegation presented its educational platform, which is now being used in Singapore, Malaysia and China.

Benson Lek, Chief Development Officer of Sixclouds, noted that the IGNITE online platform is based on the educational model of Singapore. According to him, students of Singapore schools occupy high places in the international program for assessing the educational achievements of students PISA (assessment of mathematical literacy, reading literacy and natural science of 15-16 year old students) and in the international study of the quality of school mathematical and natural science education TIMSS (literacy of students in grades 4 and 8).

Benson Lek stressed that the IGNITE platform is aimed at the organization of out-of-school education for children and currently offers programs for learning English and mathematics. He noted that these two subjects are important for the successful future of children. The platform can be used on any mobile device or computer.

The lessons within the IGNITE platform are based on animation and make it easy for children to master even difficult topics. However, the system may also involve other family members in learning.

Representatives of the Sixclouds startup said that soon they intend to expand the capabilities of the platform by launching new courses, including programming, and additional services.

The company’s CEO, Richard Woon, said that the company decided to open its office in Uzbekistan and promote its educational platform in Uzbekistan along with other commercial projects.

During the negotiations, representatives of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan and the Sixclouds discussed promising areas of cooperation in the provision of quality educational services to the population of Uzbekistan, including through the introduction of IT technologies.
