For the first time the "Party of Uzbek art" took place in Moscow in 2005 and it caused deep resonance of Russian mass media. Most of viewers and analysts think that showing the richest potential of the unique Uzbek culture and being the key event in the cultural life of Moscow, this project has become "one of the best demonstrations of real diplomacy in recent time" and starting point for organizing such cultural events of other countries in Moscow.

As Lyubomir Tyan, a Deputy of the Russian State Duma said he was greatly impressed of this evening. "I regularly visit this event that is a good tradition in our Moscow, which demonstrates the Uzbek culture. Being a pioneer of this activity, Uzbekistan showed a bright example for imitation of other CIS republics. There is no need to think out as it is the ideology uniting our nations through art and culture. I believe that it is very important to conduct such events every year, perhaps, more often in order to accelerate the strengthening and development of friendship between our peoples and countries", he pointed.

According to Mikhail Commisar, Chairman of Interfax’s Advisory Board, it is a traditional party in Moscow and all popular politicians, journalists and culture workers of Moscow accept their participation in this party as a great honor. "We all meet representatives of Uzbekistan with high interest here. We are significantly pleased that every year this country becomes closer to Russia", Mr. Commisar emphasized.

"I like Uzbekistan very much and it is striking that we have an opportunity to see a part of Uzbekistan in Russia", added Alexei Ignatenko, Editor- in- Chief of the Gosudarstvennaya Duma.

Annually the program of "Party of Uzbek art" provides more information on the potential of not only traditional but also modern culture of Uzbekistan. If in previous years Russia’s capital could get acquainted with national dancing and variety art and have nostalgic memories with such popular artists as Yulduz Usmanova and "Yalla" group as well as visit specially organized exhibition of applied art, this time the program was more diverse and it namely focused on the young generation of Uzbek cultural representatives. It was developed on the basis of harmonious combination of traditional, classical and modern art. At the same time, the floor was primarily given to talented children: diploma and prize winners of the "Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan" Foundation. Here the Uzbek culture was represented by the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan that was conducted by Vladimir Spivakov, small "makomists" Sevdiyor Davlatov and Shahzod Juraev, young "doira" players: brother Hakimovs, six year old Mini-miss of Central Asia Khadicha Imamnazarova, amusing artists of "Alladin" children’s group and "Grand master" young break dance team that exactly blended its stylish movements with the rhythm of national melodies of Uzbekistan.

The Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan was conducted by Vladimir SpivakovIn the opinion of Vladimir Spivakov, well-known Russian conductor, it was a wonderful idea that Uzbekistan brought such talented and skillful artists to Moscow. "Uzbekistan has great painting, dancers and theatres and wonderful youth! One of its representatives is Aziz Shohakimov who conducted today and had an opportunity to retrain in my orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra. He is an outstanding talent and I think that he has a brilliant future. Such people must be helped. I am happy that the head of "Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan" Foundation Gulnara spends her time on paying attention to the talented youth. She gracefully impressed me with her song, her charm and her musical talent", he said.

Farrukh Zakirov with his legendary group "Yalla" and young popular variety artists Rashid Khalikov, Samandar, Rayhon and Sardor Rahimkhon filled the program with their performances. A special mood was created by "Ofarin", one of the leading ensembles of the country, that performed the Uzbek national dances. This year the art exhibition that is a traditional and inseparable part of the "Party of Uzbek art" displayed ethnographic suits from the State Art Museum of Uzbekistan and private collections as well as exposition of paintings and miniatures of leading artists of Uzbekistan.

Nikas Safronov, one of the popular artist of Russia said that he looked at Tashkent artists’ works and made sure that the Uzbek artists were one of the best colorists in the world. "Their works contain traditional, national and individual features. One looks at them and enjoys their beauty and charm. Not all people can realize it at once. But it is impossible not to feel their mood, love for the East and love for those whom all these things are made for. We have greatly enjoyed this event and I think that every visitor saw and was glad to have an opportunity of enjoying this art again" the artist stated.

The "Party of Uzbek art" showed the uniting power of culture that allowed conducting a high-level dialog between the two countries and managed to cause sincere interest of representatives of Russian political, diplomatic, scientific and creative spheres in art and cultural values of Uzbekistan.
