On 26 July 2017, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan handed copies of his credentials to the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China and prospects for its development.
The diplomats of the two countries also discussed implementation of the agreements, reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China in May 2017.
Bakhtiyor Saidov was replaced Daniyar Kurbanov at the post of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in China. Prior to this appointment Saidov worked as the first deputy chairman of the board of Uzbekyengilsanoat (Uzbek Light Industry).
