Uzbekistan, US discuss deepening ties in science
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 6 June 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the US Envoy for Science, director of the Tufts Institute of Environment at the University of Tufts, Linda Abriola, who is paying visit to Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed current state and priorities of development of Uzbek-American relations in the context of the prospects for deepening cooperation in science, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.
It was noted that implementation of the Agreement, signed in December 2010, between the Government of Uzbekistan and the US Government on cooperation in science and technology allowed to expand the Uzbek-American partnership in this field.
