Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a resolution on 31 October “On organization of competition on attraction of population resources to funds”.

The competition is directed at stimulating and stirring up activity of commercial banks in attraction free resources of population to deposits and strengthening resource base of the banks to expand their investment opportunity.

All banks of Uzbekistan and their divisions can participate at the contest. The banks with highest points will be the winners of the contest, document said.
