Mirziyoyev travelled on tram from station “Tarih Muzeyi” till station “Temir yol vokzali”.

The length of the tram is 6.4 km. Four sub-stations one depo was constructed to service the tram line. Currently, eight trams will run between railway station and Sartepa.

It is planned to organize movement 20 trams on four routes in Samarkand, including from railway station to Siab dehkan market, from railway station to Chemical plant and station to Kimyogarlar village.
