Kazakh President congratulates Shavkat Mirziyoyev

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev with his election to the post of the President of Uzbekistan.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President-elect of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev had a telephone conversation on 5 December.
Kazakh President congratulated Mirziyoyev on the victory in the presidential elections and wished him success in implementation of his election agenda and new fulfillments in the presidential activity.
The presidents of the two states noted importance of further activation of the bilateral relations in the priority directions of the Kazakhstan-Uzbek cooperation.
They also exchanged opinions concerning the international agenda and strengthening of regional security.
During the conversation, Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also sent a message to Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Kazakh President said that results of the elections serve as evidence for high trust and support of population of Uzbekistan of the course on further improving prosperity of population and authority of the country at international arena.
The message said that wide-scale reforms, serving to strengthening of stability and security in Uzbekistan, will continue.
Nazarbayev underlined that joint efforts can give new stimulus to development of strategic partnership of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and expansion of cooperation in Central Asia as a whole.
Kazakh President attracted attention to significant potential of bilateral and regional cooperation, readiness to constructive dialogue in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Nazarbayev offered Mirziyoyev to continue dialogue in Astana and invited to visit Kazakhstan in any convenient time.
Kazakh President wished strong health and new achievements in his activities, and peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.
