Almost all of 9,378 polling stations were equipped with the ramps. At the same time, one of four voting booths are designed for people with special needs.
At the same time, the CEC, for the first time, prepared ballots in Braille, which will allow visually impaired voters to participate in the presidential elections.
Ballots in Braille are prepared in Uzbek and Russian languages and printed at printing house of the Blinds’ Society. The ballots includes names of presidential hopefuls.
In the result, over 39,000 visually impaired citizens of Uzbekistan will receive chance to cast their votes in the presidential elections.
