Ombudsperson launches hotline on participation of citizens in elections

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsperson) launched a hotline on participation of citizens in elections as a part of preparations to the elections of the President of Uzbekistan, scheduled for 4 December 2016.

The hotline will provide legal consultations to citizens on election rights and their participation in elections, participation of citizens at the meetings with presidential candidates, order of voting, etc.

The hotline is operating at short number 1096. The hotline will work from 10:00 to 18:00. On 3-4 December 2016, the line will work for 24 hours.
