During the meeting, the mission experts were familiarized with the legislative base of the activities of Ombudsperson and measures on ensuring rights of the citizens.

Ombudsperson presented the plan on main events on improving election culture and electoral activity of population, ensuring election rights of the citizens, which attracted the interests of the mission.

The plan includes measures on launch of Ombudsperson hotline on participation in the presidential elections, organization of seminars and regional meetings on election process, etc.

Alexander Shlyk noted that the measures, adopted by Ombudsperson, are timely. He said that hotline is useful and accessible tool for appeals of the citizens.
