Rio-2016: Fazliddin Gaibnazarov advances to semifinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Boxer Fazliddin Gaibnazarov from Uzbekistan progressed to the semifinals of the boxing tournament of Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in the weight category up to 64 kg.

Gaibnazarov faced Gary Russel of the United States and won the bout with the score 2-1. Advancing to the semifinal, he ensured that he will win at least bronze medal of the Rio Games.

In the semifinals of the tournament, the Uzbek boxer will face Vitaly Dunaytsev from Russia.
