UzLiDeP underlined that it carried out various events to train observers and authorized persons to ensure preparation to upcoming elections.

The observers will have right to participate in meetings of local election bodies, observer election process, request documents on result of elections from the election bodies, report on their observations on violations to election bodies, etc.

The elections to lower house of the Uzbek parliament will be held on 21 December 2014.
