CEC forms polling stations abroad
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan (CEC) adopted a resolution on formation of polling stations for parliamentary elections abroad, the press service of CEC said.
It was noted that polling stations are created I Uzbekistan in line with legislation and to create convenience for voters. CEC forms polling station abroad on proposals of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The CEC considered the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on creation of polling stations abroad.
In line with the resolution of the CEC, 44 polling stations for parliamentary elections will be formed abroad and they will be attached to 126th Temiryolchi electoral constituency of Tashkent city.
