Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Committee for tourism of Saint Petersburg will participate in the 20th anniversary of Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2014), which will be held on 6-8 October 2014.

The committee will present tourism opportunities in Saint Petersburg (Russia). The participation of the committee will help to development relations between Uzbekistan and Russia in economy and culture, as well as increase tourists inflow between two states.

Committee for tourism of Saint Petersburg will hold its presentation on 6 October 2014 and present tourism opportunities of the Russian city.

Saint Petersburg is one of the largest cities of Russia, which was founded in 1703 by Peter I. After nine years, the city became capital of Russia for next 206 years. Historic center of Saint Petersburg is one of the most attractive tourism sights. Each year, over 6 million people visit Saint Petersburg.
