The event was organized by the parliamentary Ombudsman in cooperation with national partners on 18 April and was devoted to the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The ombudsmen of the two states made presentations at the conference. Representatives of the national partners of the Ombudsman, including the Constitutional Court, the General Prosecutor’s Office and Ministries of Internal Affairs and Justice of Uzbekistan exchanged practices of human rights protection.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Human Rights Center and the Supreme Court expressed their opinions regarding promotion and protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of the people.
