During the meeting, the sides discussed current state and perspective of further bilateral relations, implementations of earlier reached agreements, as well as preparation to upcoming Uzbek-Chinese meetings at high level, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

It was noted that Uzbekistan and China highly rate strategic partnership directed at gradual development of cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.

In last six years, bilateral trade turnover rose almost six times and in 2013 the turnover exceeded US$5.2 billion.

At the meeting, the sides also discussed actual international and regional issues.
