Bilateral trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Belarus grows by 62.7% in 2007

The embassy noted that the bilateral trade turnover increased over three times over past eight years.
It was noted that Belarus’ export to Uzbekistan rose by 71.6% to US$93.07 million in 2007. Belarus mainly exports to Uzbekistan such products as vehicles, timber and timber products, machinery, chemical products, food products, non-precious metals and ware and others.
Belarus’ imports from the Central Asian state increased by 33.2% year-on-year to 21.626 million in 2007. Uzbekistan exports textile products, vehicles, industrial goods, machinery, chemical products, plastic and rubber goods and other products to Belarus.
