During the session, Uzbekistan created effective multilevel system of protection of rights and interests of people, who require guardianship and custody, including orphans and children without parents. The country implements effective measures on their state support.

The country arranged work on identifying children, who are at risk, preventing of neglect and juvenile delinquency, protecting their rights and legitimate interests in the courts and other institutions. Uzbekistan also formed and develops regulatory framework in the field of protection of children without parental care.

Senators said that adoption of single and special law, which unifies legal acts in the sphere, will help to strengthen legal protection of rights and interests of people under custody and guardianship, first of all, orphans and children without care of parents, as well as improve activities of custody and guardianship institutes. The law was approved by the Senators.
