Delegation of Romania pays visit to Uzbektourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Economy of Romany and head of national agency on tourism Răzvan Filipescu met the chairperson of Uzbektourism national company Farrukh Rizaev on 27 June 2013.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on current state and perspectives of cooperation between two states in tourism sector and expansion of mutual partnership, UzA reported.

As earlier reported, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan hosted a business forum between business circles of Uzbekistan and Romania.

The meeting was attended by Uzbek and Romanian businesses, working in such areas as pharmaceuticals, tourism, machinery, transport and transport communication, electrotechnical and other industries, as well as representatives of ministries and departments.

At the business forum, the sides exchanged opinion on expanding trade-economic, investment cooperation, and implementation of mutual beneficial projects. The sides discussed issues of expanding mutual trade and number of joint ventures, etc.

The Romanian businesses received information on privatization process and economic reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as implementation of joint projects at free industrial-economic zone Navoi and special industrial zone Angren.

The cooperation exchange between business entities of Uzbekistan and Romania was also held on the same day.
