Uzbekistan to create hotel booking system

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will create a national system on booking hotels, which will take into account local peculiarities of tourism industry, the press service of Uzbektourism national company said.

The company said that currently the country do not have development system on booking tourism services, including hotels. Foreign booking systems do not take into account peculiarities of the local market and it is difficult to interact with other foreign systems.

New system will be available at the address www.welcomehotels.uz. The hotels will be able to enter information about their services manually.

In future, it is planned to launch online payment processing system once some organizational issues are sorted out.

It is expected that new system will provide information, published at the portal, to foreign tourism services booking systems.
