The report said that new line has been commissioned in cooperation with China CAMC engineering CO.LTD.

Senior engineer Bekabadcement Erkin Qurbanov said that the enterprise is increasing its capacities.

New line can produce up to 750,000 tonnes of clinker a year. After new line will reach its capacities, the plant will increase cement production by 15%, he said.

New technology uses both gas and coal, which will allow to save energy resources and raw materials. The automated system controls production at all stages, he said.

Launch of new production line allowed to create 150 new jobs and mainly young people were employed.

In near future, the plant is planning to launch production of breeze blocks, sidewalk tiles and other construction materials from cement.
