Singapore were unable to attend because of domestic league commitments, so Uzbekistan have been brought in to face hosts and holders Thailand, North Korea and Asian Cup winners Iraq, a Thai soccer federation official said.
The competition, held annually since 1968, has a round-robin format, with the top two teams meeting in the final. The competition runs from 22-30.
