TITF-2012 to be held in October-November 2012

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Eighteenth Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF-2012) “Tourism on Silk Road” will take place from 31 October to 2 November 2012 at the Uzexpocenter national exhibition complex.

The fair is aimed at providing platform for professionals of tourism industry for establishing business contacts and close cooperation ties. At TITF participants of the fair present their new programmes, prices and directions.

This year, it is expected that the fair will unite hundreds of firms from various parts of the world, which present their tourism services. The visitors will have chance to familiarize with various tourism products and routes.

The fair will also allow foreign and Uzbek firms to find out more about each other, set business contacts and sign contracts.

It is expected that large tourism firms, tourism administrations, associations, hotels, resorts, internet booking systems and others will participate at the fair.

National pavilion of Uzbekistan will present full information on such directions as resort, health, education and architecture-historic tourism.

The fair also includes various presentations, roundtables, master classes, etc. On 31 October, it is planned to hold workshop “Internal tourism as factor for sustainable development of tourism in the regions” with the World Tourism Organization. A conference “Development and perspectives of ecologic tourism on Silk Road” will be held on 1 November.
