London-2012: Vadim Menkov reaches semifinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Two time world champion Vadim Menkov from Uzbekistan advanced to semifinal of Men's Canoe Single (C1) 1000m competition of the Olympic Games in London.

Vadim Menkov passed the distance in 4.05.895 and he finished the second in his heat.

Today, Vadim Menkov will participate in semifinals. The semifinals will be held in two heats and Menkov should be in top four to advance to finals, which will be held on 8 August 2012.
