The agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Russia on cooperation in transportation of irradiated fuel from research reactor to Russia was signed in Tashkent on 15 May 2012.

The Uzbek leader entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to direct notification on implementation of all necessary intergovernmental procedures, necessary for entering the document into force, to the Russian side.
