Uzbekistan to discuss natural gas price rise for Russia in December

"The price will remain US$100 per 1,000 cubic meters until the end of this year, but we will hold talks in December on raising it," the company representative said without specifying what increase Uzbekistan would be seeking.

The spokesperson said the Central Asian country intended to shift from a regional price formula to world market prices.

It should be noted that neighboring Turkmenistan increased gas price from US$100 per 1,000 cubic meters to US$130 per 1,000 cubic meters.
