The Council of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan adopted a decision to hold the 12th plenary session of the Senate in Tashkent on 30 November.

The Senate will consider State Budget for 2008 and the amendments and the changes to several laws, as well as ratification of international documents.

The upper house of the Uzbek parliament will also consider issues of its jurisdiction.
