The embassy said that it will coordinate consular issues between the EU member states in Uzbekistan and helped those EU states, which have no missions in Uzbekistan, in crisis situations.

Issues, related to coordination of Shengen visas to Uzbekistan, will remain in authorities of the Embassy of Poland in Tashkent.

Delegation of the European Union in Tashkent will be responsible for other issues. These agreements were achieved at the meeting of the heads of diplomatic missions of the EU states in Tashkent at the Embassy of Slovakia on 29 February 2012.
