The head of our state noted in his letter that Uzbekistan highly appreciates the open and constructive dialogue established with Germany during the past years across the wide spectrum of bilateral and multilateral ties, the mounting dynamics of mutually advantageous cooperation in economic and industrial realms, the traditionally friendly cultural and humanitarian contacts, and that we are confident in the consistent enhancement of interaction on all these fronts in the future, as well.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has received a greeting letter from the acting Federal President, President of the Bundesrat of the Federal Republic of Germany Horst Seehofer on the twentieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to the note, our two nations currently maintain close and multilayered bonds that extend beyond common economic interests and that which Germany is willing to expand even further. An open political dialogue across all issues constitutes an integral part of this trend.
